She's awake and wants nummies!

Emma came through surgery great and is on the mend. We were blessed with a great surgeon, anesthesiologist, and recovery nurses. After surgery, she slept aallllll day until around 9 p.m. The grandma's came to the rescue and were here last night so that Clinton and I could get some sleep ~ we were SO thankful! Of course she woke up right after we left and was so happy to see her mamaws :) She slept through the night last night and woke up hungry this morning. I can't express how wonderful it is to hear her happy chatter and see her acting more and more herself. The surgeon was in this morning and pulled out a little bit of the drain; he will remove the rest of it tomorrow and then we can go home! Yayyyy!
This pediatric unit is amazing - the nurses have all been so sweet. They have people that come in just to make sure the kids are as comfortable as possible. This morning a lady came in and brought some toys for Emma to play with here in the room because they don't want her going to the play room until they get all the tests back. We have been so blessed and continue to thank God for His healing and perfectness.

  2. O Kelly & Clinton, you've been so brave yourselves! We've had you on our minds constantly and lifting you before the throne. SO happy to see these dear pictures of Emma.
