This Grandma

We are so blessed to have Grandmas in our lives...
Clinton and I are so very thankful for the 3 grandmas we have ~
Grandma Brubaker, Grandma Kinzie, and Grandma Bowman.
That means that Emma has 3 grandma-greats!
and she loves them all... but it just so happens that one of them lives a hop, skip, and jump away from us right down the road.
This grandma is fun, spunky, and probably more energetic than myself (even though I'm only about 50 yrs. younger.)
This grandma is who we call when we run out of sugar in the middle of making cookies.
This grandma often calls to see if I have supper made yet because she has some for us.
This grandma sometimes tells us the same stories lots of times just to make sure we get it :)
This grandma is where Emma wants to go instead of turning on our road and going home.
This grandma walks down to see us regularly.
This grandma is so very special to us...

It's a good-made-even-better day when she walks down just to see how we're doing and spend some time with Emma for a while.

This grandma is, in Emma's words, "Mamaw Ninsey!"

Puppies!

We had 4 sweet cocker puppies born to our Sylvia yesterday.
3 boys and 1 little girl...
and oh the puppy pile how I love the puppy pile! It's so cute how they snuggle to keep warm. I think I sat and snapped about fifteen pictures of the exact same thing just because it was so sweet before I realized what a waste of time that was. I couldn't help it - they are so adorable and tiny!

For those of you who think they look like little rats?

Just wait about a month until they look like this....

Now who can resist?

She Can't Wait

to be a big sister in October!

Framing Progress!

Exciting things are happening at our house ~ something new and different every day!

From the first wall...

to the in between...

Right in the front door

Dad to the rescue to help lift the wall up!

One of these requested Taylor out of the picture to show the old guys still got it
hmmm... which one would that be?

Planning the next step... don't want to make them stop and pose :)

Lots of shavings and sawdust at the end of the day is a very good thing! Emma is loving all the action around our house lately. "Uh Debuh and Taydleder" are pretty much the coolest people in her book - and she runs to the door first thing every morning to shout her hellos and g'mornings. Anything we eat or drink throughout the day she thinks we need to take to them too... (she must think they look hungry?) They are such good sports to humor her.
She manages to get a new scrape or bruise pretty much every day climbing around in the "noo ouse".
Never a dull moment (or quiet) with my girl!

On to the second story and garage next week!
